Sheraton Atlanta Hotel Taps New National Account, National Sales Managers
ATLANTA (March 2004) - The Sheraton Atlanta Hotel announces a staff promotion and new hire to its sales team, effective immediately. Cesar Wurm was named National Account Manager, representing the Southeast market; Jackie Connelly joins the Sheraton's sales staff as National Sales Manager.
Cesar Wurm
will manage market segments such as associations and corporations across the Southeast, outside of Atlanta. He joined the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel's rooms division in 2001 and moved into the hotel's sales department within six months, handling Midwest and Southeast accounts and small meetings. Prior to the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, he had gained an understanding of hospitality operations through jobs in table service and room service. He holds a Swiss higher diploma in Hospitality Management and a B.A. in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Washington State University. Originally from Brazil, he resides in Buckhead and is a member of Toastmasters International and Meeting Professionals International.
Jackie Connelly
brings six and-a-half years of industry experience to the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, where she will manage development for the Southeast market. Prior to joining the Sheraton sales staff, she worked in sales for Chateau Élan Winery & Resort and as a meeting planner for the American Association of Physician Specialists, a national medical association. She holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia. Originally from Texas, she resides in Avondale Estates with her husband.
