Centennial Olympic Park
Venture around the corner from the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, where the heart of Atlanta lies: the famed Centennial Olympic Park, a landmark from city's 1996 Olympic Games. The park is a perfect place for relaxing in the sun, playing in the fountains, and spending time with friends. The Fountain of Rings is a must-do in the summertime, where children (and adults!) from all over the city come to play in the water fountains. The 21-acre park is free to all and frequently hosts community events. Please note the park is open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, however hours may vary due to special events.
